This project involved the complete transformation of a cellular family home, untouched for over 50 years, into a light-filled contemporary residence with a strong connection to the adjacent park.

Working with AURA Architecture, the structural design replaced original load-bearing masonry with a discreet steel framework, enabling a full-width rear extension and uninterrupted open-plan living.

A new central stair core introduces a double-height space that draws daylight through every level, achieved through significant floor reconfiguration and concealed structural support.

The scheme is completed by a zinc-clad loft master suite with a private roof terrace, supported by a lightweight steel and timber structure. Throughout, precision steelwork allows for clear spans, flush ceilings, and extensive glazing—delivering a home defined by openness, light, and seamless inside–out living.
