Elm Green Lane

A new private dwelling in one of Danbury’s most established residential locations. Designed in collaboration with Meynell Gunton Architects, the house delivers contemporary living within a form that responds carefully to its rural context.

The design is informed by the site’s topography and surrounding village character, with massing, orientation, and landscaping used to integrate the dwelling sensitively within its setting. The proposal prioritises open-plan living spaces with strong connections to the landscape, maximising daylight and outward views.

Sustainability is integral to the scheme, incorporating high-performance building fabric, energy-efficient systems, and biodiversity-led landscaping. Detailed design is complete, with the project progressing toward commencement on site.
